I've been working on paper most recently, in pencils and gouache paints. I use Murano paper from Daler and Rowney for the quality and colour. I use the most permanent and opaque colours that I can get my hands on. The more transparent the colour the more layers I must add to achieve balance among all the colours. I have also been working with the A3 paper size for the ease of scanning, archiving and displaying my work on the internet. I will try working on A2/1/0 but for the moment working on A3 is easier to manage and makes more sense economically.
